July 10-12, Cabrillo Dog Show

Over 1000 dogs of all breeds will be at Bates to compete in this AKC accredited dog show. Dog lovers will enjoy the top-notch competition, and will also have the opportunity to look behind the scenes to watch groomers, trainers & owners prepare their dogs for the show ring.

July 17, San Diego Pride Rally

Pride celebrations everywhere trace their heritage to the eventful evening of June 28, 1969 when patrons of the Stonewall Inn in New York City said “No more!” to the harassing tactics of the New York Police. That protest has grown to annual events held in major cities throughout the world. In San Diego, our first rally was held in 1975.

July 18 – 19, Annual LGBT Pride Festival

San Diego Pride’s famous cultural Festival includes multiple stages of entertainment, more than 80 musicians, bands, comedy and dance performers, 300 participating vendor booths, an art exhibit, cultural presentations, and great food!

July 18, Mopar All American Car Show  

Open to all makes, models and years of cars, trucks and motorcycles and is the signature event put on by The Mopar Club San Diego each year. The show annually draws 250-300 vehicles and 2,500-3,500 people.

 July 19, Carlsbad Grand Prix  

0.9 mile closed course with a finish boasting sweeping views of the Pacific Ocean. This full day of races will feature more than 600 junior, amateur, professional, and Paralympics hand cyclists racing in timed races for prizes and/or cash in front of 3,000 spectators. The Carlsbad Family Fun Race adds an additional 500 participants.

July 25 – 26, Insect Festival
